Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional hospitality throughout their visit
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for sales transactions
- Assist guests with product inquiries, upselling items to enhance their experience and increase sales
- Demo product to showcase featured merchandise or new arrivals
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays that highlight popular items and promote seasonal themes
- Restock shelves regularly, ensuring products are organized, clean, and accessible
- Handle cash, credit card, and gift card transactions accurately while practicing proper cash handling procedures
- Provide information to guests about zoo exhibits, membership programs, and upcoming events to engage visitors
- Maintain phone and radio etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance remotely
- Support inventory management by checking in shipments as necessary
