The Member Services Representative (MSR) is the first and last interaction our members have at our facilities, so they are the face of our operation! The MSR handles all preliminary guest questions and concerns and works to maintain a fun and supportive atmosphere for our members. Your energetic approach will help foster positive relationships, resolve inquiries efficiently, and promote our organization’s mission of delivering outstanding service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and visitors warmly, creating a friendly and professional front desk experience
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle inquiries, direct calls, and provide information promptly
- Maintain accurate data entry records using productivity software such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Support office management tasks including filing, document proofreading, and calendar management
- Assist with bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
- Provide excellent customer support by addressing questions, resolving issues, and offering helpful solutions
- Handle clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies to ensure smooth daily operations
Skills
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and data entry skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective front desk interactions
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and office management procedures
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse member needs effectively
- Prior office or administrative experience including clerical tasks like filing, proofreading, and calendar management
- Technical proficiency with productivity software such as Microsoft Office Suite and bookkeeping tools like QuickBooks
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively
- Customer service expertise with a focus on providing supportive and professional assistance in person or over the phone
- Knowledge of medical or dental receptionist duties is a plus but not required; relevant personal assistant or administrative experience is beneficial
