Position Summary
The Inserter Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining envelope inserting equipment while ensuring quality standards, production goals, and customer requirements are met.
Core Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience operating envelope inserter equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient with software applications and machine interfaces
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and logical reasoning abilities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Previous experience in commercial printing, mailing, or bindery operations preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate inserter equipment efficiently and safely
- Monitor production runs to ensure quality and accuracy
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Complete production documentation and quality checks
- Work closely with team members to meet production deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
