We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) for this role*
Job Responsibilities and Duties:*
- Oversee aspects of the nursing department, including staff management and patient care
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
- Ensure adherence to resident rights and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to promote a positive work environment
Requirements:
- Strong Leadership and Supervisory Skills
- Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice with previous DON or ADON experience.
- Rehabilitation Focus, Wound Care Experience, Knowledge of Medicare A & B, Willing To Work With Behavior Management Residents
- Enjoy working with the Elderly, MDS/Care Plans, Willing to work 2 Weeks a Month, Previous CNA/CMT instructor certification and have excellent regulatory compliance record and commitments to TQM (Total Quality Management)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
Familiarity with healthcare systems and regulations, including HIPAA compliance
