GARDENER
You’ll be:
· Watering, trimming, repotting and fertilizing plants as directed.
· Arranging and maintaining displays for attractiveness
· Taking inventory
· Using/maintaining spray, treatment and fertilization schedules
· Maintaining equipment and tools
· Letting Manager know what customers are asking for
· Making suggestions
· Greeting customers – asking if they have questions and assist
· Assisting in carry-out and feeding
· Jumping in when and where needed
You’ll have:
· Knowledge of plant water and nutritional requirements
· Ability to prioritize
· Understanding of organic products and their active ingredients
· Knowledge of correct repotting
· Experience with retail gardening
· Knowledge of horticulture in retail
· Attention to detail
· Ability to work well with others
· Ability to perform repetitive tasks
· Ability to lift 50# comfortably and stand for extended periods
