Dog Bather
We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Dog Bather to join our grooming team! As a Dog Bather, you will play a vital role in ensuring our furry clients are clean, comfortable, and well cared for. This position is perfect for individuals who love working with animals and enjoy a hands-on role in pet care. Candidates must be flexible to work all shifts: days, evenings, Saturday and holidays. This is a year round position. All candidates must be 18 years or older.
NO seasonal applicants. College students applying must be willing to continue employment after school sessions begin. High School students will not be considered.
What you'll do:
- Bathe dogs of all breeds and sizes using proper techniques and products
- Brush and de-mat fur as needed before and after bathing
- Trim nails, clean ears, and perform other basic grooming tasks
- Safely handle and restrain dogs to ensure a stress-free experience
- Monitor pets for signs of health issues, such as skin conditions or abnormalities, and report concerns to groomers or management
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bathing and grooming areas
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their dog’s bathing and grooming needs
- Assist groomers with prep work and other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Passion for working with animals and ensuring their comfort
- Ability to lift and handle dogs of various sizes
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

*Experience preferred, but not required. We can train, but must be efficient & determined.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
