A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Operating Room team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality perioperative care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on clinical excellence and professional growth.
Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients using the nursing process and established clinical standards
Deliver care to a sub-specialty patient population throughout the perioperative experience
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective surgical care
Delegate appropriate patient care activities to members of the healthcare team
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Promote patient safety and adherence to evidence-based clinical practices
Serve as a preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
Demonstrate professional accountability and participate in ongoing professional development activities
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Minimum of two years of Registered Nurse experience required
At least one year of Operating Room RN experience preferred
ACLS certification required if applicable to the department
Nursing specialty certification preferred
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment
