The Field Service Supervisor leads the development, safety, and operational effectiveness of the Commercial O&M field technician team, serving as the primary advocate and support resource for field personnel while ensuring high-quality service execution across all territories.
Combining technical leadership, workforce management, project oversight, and field-based coaching, this role works closely with Portfolio Managers, Service Coordinators, Technical Specialists, Safety personnel, and the Commercial O&M Manager to improve technician utilization, reduce preventable repeat site visits, and support the safe execution of complex service projects. The Field Service Supervisor regularly travels to sites and territories to maintain direct engagement with technicians and drive continuous improvement.
Role and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Provide direct leadership, mentorship, and field-based coaching to Commercial O&M technicians through regular check-ins, site visits, and proactive follow-up on challenges, resource needs, and training opportunities.

Support technician development, performance discussions, succession planning, onboarding, and professional growth in partnership with the Commercial O&M Manager.

Serve as the primary conduit between field personnel and office-based teams, promoting clear communication, accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Ensure field work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with ReVision standards, including proper preparation before dispatch and effective prioritization of service requests against contractual response obligations.

Partner with Service Coordinators to optimize schedules, technician assignments, workforce utilization, workload balancing, and dispatch readiness.

Act as the senior field resource for complex electrical troubleshooting, system diagnostics, and advanced PV, BESS, EV charging, monitoring, and electrical service issues.

Guide technicians through troubleshooting before and during service events, reviewing recurring issues and developing corrective actions to improve service quality, efficiency, and first-time resolution.

Lead execution planning for complex service projects such as system repowers, module removals and reinstallations and other major corrective maintenance events.

Develop project execution plans, coordinate resources and schedules, align stakeholders, monitor progress, identify risks, and drive complex service projects to completion.

Review complex scopes of work, labor assumptions, constructability considerations, and estimated versus actual project hours and expenses to improve technical feasibility, execution planning, and estimating accuracy.

Identify staffing requirements based on workload forecasts and business growth, and support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and workforce planning for field technicians and new service offerings.

Identify training gaps, coordinate technical training programs, and support standardized field procedures, field standards, and technical best practices.

Partner with the Safety Department to ensure technicians have the PPE, tools, testing equipment, certifications, and resources needed to perform work safely, and participate in safety initiatives, incident reviews, and corrective action development.

Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Technical Specialists, Development, Engineering, Safety, Operations, and customer-facing teams to align field execution with customer priorities, technical requirements, and project objectives.

Serve as the primary Service representative for Development and Engineering teams on complex project development, including coordination related to permitting, interconnection, technical review, and execution planning.

Perform additional duties in support of and as assigned by Commercial O&M Manager.
- Journeyperson or Master Electrician license, or equivalent electrical qualification appropriate to the role.

Extensive electrical troubleshooting experience, preferably within commercial or utility-scale solar PV operations, maintenance, installation, commissioning, or project management.

Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support field technicians while reinforcing accountability, professionalism, and safe work practices.

Experience managing multiple priorities, complex service projects, schedules, and stakeholders simultaneously.

Strong communication, organization, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Ability to travel regularly within assigned service territories and support field-based work as needed.
- Ability to report to our South Portland, ME, Brentwood, NH, or North Andover, MA branch locations.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

OSHA 10, CPR / First Aid, and NFPA 70E certifications.
Additional Qualifications:
- Former Solar O&M Technician, Lead Technician, Foreman, Project Manager, or field leadership experience preferred.

Experience with BESS, EV charging infrastructure, and advanced monitoring systems preferred.

NABCEP certification, AMICUS O&M PV + BESS Technician Level I/II credentials, or equivalent industry certifications preferred.

OSHA 30 preferred.
