## Job Overview
We are looking for a bilingual (English and Spanish) Dental Receptionist to join our team at a well-established dental clinic. As a Dental Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and administrative support in a fast-paced dental environment.
## Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients to the clinic with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office's appointment system
- Recall/reschedule patients for missing appointment or treatment
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Verify insurance information and assist patients with billing and payment processes
- Calculate and collect copay
- Maintain electronic health records accurately and ensure patient confidentiality
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and clinic operations
- Utilize dental terminology effectively in communication with patients and colleagues
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the reception area
## Experience
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable
-Previous experience with dental insurance, billing, and claims is highly desirable
- Familiarity with dental terminology and understanding of urgent care procedures is advantageous
-Must speak Spanish
