We are looking for a reliable and experienced temporary dental assistant. to join out team for ONE WEEK JULY 27- JULY 31.
The ideal candidate is organized, friendly and able to work in a fast-paced dental office
* DENTAL ASSISTANT CERTIFICATE AND EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED*
English and Spanish PREFERRED.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and prepare patient for treatment
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Set up and break down operatories
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Take digital X-rays
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Schedule appointments
- Make Temporary crowns and bridges
Skills
- PROVEN EXPERIENCE AS A DENTAL ASSISTANT
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Well-organized and reliable
- High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
TEMPORARY POSITION
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
