Pay: From $32 an hour DOE

At DakotaMB, the Maintenance Technician ensures all machinery is functioning at optimum operating condition and will organize and conduct daily preventative maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable operation of all facilities to meet customer expectations and business objectives. Qualified individuals are also competent in all food safety, OSHA, and manufacturing procedures.
Maintenance Technician Accountabilities:
- Performs preventative maintenance (PM) on all machinery and equipment to minimize failure and optimize production efficiencies.
- Repairs machinery and equipment when malfunctions occur.
- Proactively diagnoses and resolves mechanical, electrical and facility issues to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient food processing operations.
- Removes and replaces defective parts using hand and power tools. Including but not limited to: Electric Motors, Conveyors. Airlocks, Spouting, etc.
- Obtains necessary parts for maintenance and repairs utilizing the best available resources
- Monitors boiler operations at all times including non-operating hours.
- Documentation and Record Keeping
- Teamwork, Efficiency, and Safety
Qualifications:
- Extensive Mechanical training or experience
- Proficient at PLC programming to optimize processes
- Familiar with OSHA 1910.29 General Industry Regulations
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and plumbing
- Familiar with welding techniques
Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Experience:
- Maintenance: 2 years (Required)
- Electrical wiring: 1 year (Preferred)
- Plumbing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Welding: 1 year (Preferred)
