- Architect and deploy NetApp storage solutions tailored to business needs, including capacity planning, performance tuning, and data migration
- Manage and optimize ONTAP-based environments (AFF, FAS, Cloud Volumes), leveraging features such as snapshots, replication, and data protection
- Implement and advise on FlexCache strategies to enhance performance and data locality
- Deploy and manage Azure NetApp Files, including networking, security, and integration with Azure services (vNET, IAM)
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and operational issues in hybrid and cloud storage environments
- Utilize NetApp BlueXP for centralized management and orchestration of Azure NetApp Files, Cloud Volumes ONTAP, and other NetApp platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of storage solutions with business and technical objectives
- Utilize NetApp Data Infrastructure Insights for environment monitoring and reporting
- Design, implement, and manage NetApp Metro Cluster environments
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for critical data storage systems
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to NetApp Metro Cluster systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to NetApp Metro Cluster configurations
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices for NetApp Metro Cluster management
- Deep knowledge of ONTAP, AFF, FAS, Cloud Volumes, and data protection features
- Experience with FlexCache design and implementation
- Proficiency in performance optimization and workload analysis
- Expertise in Azure NetApp Files architecture, deployment, and tuning
- Expertise in Cloud Volumes ONTAP for Azure architecture, deployment, and tuning
- Integration with Azure services and automation of storage provisioning
- Data migration strategies between on-prem and cloud environments
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to Azure NetApp Files deployments, including performance bottlenecks, security concerns, and operational problems
- Use of DII for infrastructure monitoring, anomaly detection, and capacity planning
- Experience with SAN Analyzer and other tools for block workload analysis
- Ability to translate infrastructure metrics into actionable business intelligence
- Familiarity with using data infrastructure insights to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize storage resources, both on-premises and in the cloud
- Location: 90% remote, 10% onsite
- May need to travel to the office every once in a while
- Pay: up to $125,000
