Architectural Project Manager
We are a well established Commercial Architectural Millwork company in business for 60 years producing custom laminate, veneer, and solid surface cabinetry and millwork for various industries through out Michigan and the US. We have an opening for an experienced, full time Project Manager here at our Lincoln Park Michigan office. We are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Communication with clients, builders and suppliers
- Maintaining project schedules
- Providing documents and submittals
- Maintaining architectural documents
- Take part in field measurements.
- Take part in project meetings, in office and on site
- Reviewing and approving Shop Drawings
- Write RFI (Request for Information)
- Maintaining project budgets
- Material ordering from established vendors
- Request and submit samples for approval
- Produce and submit Close Out documents
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years minimum experience in the Millwork Project or the Project Management field, either residential or commercial, we are willing to train the right person.
- Understand the processes behind the engineering, fabrication, finishing and installation of architectural casework and millwork.
- Ability to manage multiple projects .
- Exhibit excellent organization and communication skill
- Computer skills in Excel and Word, TEAMS, Outlook, Bluebeam experience is a bonus
- Attend production meetings as required, in and out of the office
- Read and understand architectural drawings
- Read, understand, and follow contract specifications.
- Monitor job costs.
- Enjoy interacting with other professionals.
