Landscape/Lawn Maintenance Team LeadJob Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Landscape/Lawn Maintenance Team Lead to oversee daily operations in the field while working alongside a crew. This role requires a strong commitment to quality, leadership, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, treats each property as if it were their own, and ensures every job is completed correctly and efficiently.
This is a full-time, year-round position. In addition to lawn and landscape maintenance, our team provides seasonal services including landscape enhancements, leaf cleanups, snow and ice management, and professional Christmas light installation and removal for residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a maintenance crew to complete scheduled services.
- Ensure all work meets company standards with a very high level of attention to detail.
- Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and property clean-up to the highest standard.
- Communicate professionally with customers and address any concerns on-site if needed.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer service and overall client satisfaction.
- Inspect properties to ensure jobs are completed correctly before leaving.
- Provide direction, training, and support to team members.
- Work both independently and collaboratively with the team.
- Safely operate and maintain equipment.
- Identify issues and proactively communicate with management and team members.
Requirements
- Previous landscaping or lawn maintenance experience required (leadership experience in this area is preferred).
- Supervisor/lead/manager experience IS required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to ask for help when needed.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to landscaping equipment and outdoor work environments.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients as needed.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions and safely operate landscaping equipment.
