Maintenance Coordinator (Office-Based) — Town & Country Realty of Thomasville, Inc.

About the Role
Town & Country Realty of Thomasville, Inc. is a growing property management company, and we're looking for a detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to be the central point of contact for maintenance requests across our properties.
To be clear up front: this is an in-office coordination role, not a hands-on repair job. You won't be swinging a hammer — you'll be the person who keeps everything organized behind the scenes. You'll take in maintenance requests, get the right vendor or technician scheduled, and keep property owners informed. If you're organized, calm on the phone, and good at juggling a lot of moving pieces, you'll do well here.
What You'll Do
- Field incoming maintenance requests by phone and through our online resident portal
- Take in and process rent payments from residents
- Schedule and coordinate vendors and technicians to complete work orders
- Communicate with property owners about repair quotes and approvals
- Follow up to make sure jobs are completed and residents are taken care of
- Keep accurate records of requests, scheduling, and status updates in our software
What We're Looking For
- Strong phone and customer-service skills — you're friendly, clear, and patient
- Excellent organization and the ability to juggle multiple requests at once
- Fluency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook/Email, and Excel)
- Comfort learning and working in web-based property management software
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Reliable, self-directed, and calm under pressure
Nice to have (but not required):
- Prior experience in property management, dispatch, scheduling, or a busy front office
- Familiarity with PROMAS and Inosio (our property management software) — or experience with similar systems
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
Schedule, Pay & Benefits
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM — no early mornings
- Paid lunch: 12:30–1:30 daily (yes, your lunch hour is on the clock)
- Pay: $17–$20 per hour, depending on experience
- Benefits: Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays
- Location: On-site at our office — 310 E Main St, Thomasville, NC
