Top Tier Tree Specialist is looking for an experienced Sales Arborist to join our team in North Central Florida. This role is ideal for an ISA Certified Arborist, Arborist Representative, Tree Care Consultant, or dedicated tree care professional who enjoys building client relationships and helping customers make informed, safe decisions about their trees and landscapes.
As a Sales Arborist, you will meet with residential and commercial clients across Gainesville and the surrounding areas to assess tree health, risk, and structural needs. You will develop precise treatment and service recommendations and prepare proposals for top-tier tree care services. Working closely with our field operations crew, you’ll help deliver an exceptional customer experience while growing your sales territory.
What You'll Do
- Client Consultation: Meet with new and existing residential and commercial clients to evaluate tree health, aesthetic preferences, and property safety needs.
- Service Recommendations: Recommend precision tree trimming and pruning, safe tree removal, stump grinding, crown reduction, deadwood removal, and 24/7 emergency storm mitigation.
- Estimates & Proposals: Perform on-site tree assessments, diagnose potential issues, and prepare clear, detailed proposals for property owners.
- Business Development: Build long-term customer relationships and generate new business through referrals, local networking, and active lead follow-up.
- Tree Inspections: Conduct thorough assessments to identify structural hazards, diseases, pest activity, and overall tree risk.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with our certified operations and crew members to ensure jobs are executed cleanly, safely, and to exact project specifications.
- CRM Management: Maintain detailed records of client interactions, on-site assessments, and ongoing sales pipelines within our CRM.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in tree care sales, arboriculture, forestry, horticulture, or a closely related field.
- ISA Certified Arborist credential preferred (or active willingness to obtain certification).
- Deep understanding of North Central Florida tree species, tree biology, pruning standards, and hazard evaluation.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- A self-motivated mindset with strong time-management skills to work independently throughout your territory.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
