American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel position requiring ACLS and a minimum of 2 years of experience, with night shifts and floating responsibilities.

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting

Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Schedule options: 36/36, 36/48, or 48/48 per week

Patient ratio of 1:7 when floated to Med/Surg
-
Floating to Med/Surg is required
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration

Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Candidate's permanent residence must be 100+ miles from the facility's service area

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Local candidates are not accepted; a 100-mile radius rule is strictly enforced

General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)

Contract RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their standard patient care responsibilities
