Project Manager – High-End Custom Homes
Star Island Builders is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team building custom homes and renovations along New Hampshire's Seacoast.
We're a growing residential builder focused on quality over volume. We build in Portsmouth, Rye, and New Castle, working closely with homeowners, architects, and subcontractors to deliver exceptional homes. Our projects are built on transparency, accountability, and strong relationships, not shortcuts.

What You'll Do
- Lead projects from preconstruction through completion.
- Build and maintain detailed project schedules.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries.
- Conduct regular site walks and identify issues before they become problems.
- Maintain high standards for craftsmanship and quality control.
- Hold weekly client meetings and provide clear communication throughout the project.
- Review plans, anticipate conflicts, and work proactively with architects and consultants.
- Coordinate with our operations team on purchasing, contracts, and project logistics.
- Keep projects moving while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, trade partners, and our in-house team.
What We're Looking For
- Experience managing high-end residential construction projects.
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead subcontractors with professionalism and accountability.
- Someone who naturally looks ahead and solves problems before they affect schedule or budget.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, along with paid time off and opportunities for professional growth.
Location: Portsmouth, NH
Pay: $68,905.27 - $100,000.00 per year
