High School Diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge, SkillsAbilities:
Ability to clearly communicate.

Stand, reach, and stretch the majority of the day as needed.
Basic technology skills, including internet access.
Performance Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Key Job Responsibilities:
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with students, staff, and visitors.
Character: Ability to remain calm under pressure, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment.
Access ControlVisitor Management: Screen all visitors, check identification, issue visitor badges, and ensure unauthorized individuals do not enter.
Record Keeping: Maintain visitor logs, incident reports, and daily security logs.
Access Control: Staff the front desk, verify credentials, screen visitors/vendors, and issue access materials.
SurveillancePatrols: Monitor security systems (cameras, alarms) and conduct regular patrols to identify safety hazards or suspicious activity.
Visitor Management: Greet guests, provide directions, and manage sign-in/sign-out procedures.
Emergency Response: Act as a first responder to incidents, coordinating with emergency services and directing traffic or personnel.
Reporting: Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, documenting security-related findings.
