Position Summary
WyreDreams is seeking a dependable and motivated Low Voltage Wiring & Installation Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in low-voltage installations who takes pride in clean workmanship, attention to detail, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling.
- Install and configure security camera systems.
- Install Wi-Fi access points, network switches, and structured wiring systems.
- Install TV mounts, speakers, displays, and audio/video equipment.
- Assist with access control and smart home installations.
- Read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Label, test, and troubleshoot installed systems.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Follow company safety procedures and installation standards.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of low-voltage installation experience preferred.
- Experience pulling and terminating network cable.
- Familiarity with networking equipment such as Ubiquiti is a plus.
- Experience installing security cameras and AV equipment preferred.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on ladders.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to and from the office.
