We are expanding rapidly and looking for an energetic Operations Assistant to spearhead our guide recruitment and onboarding efforts. (MUST BE ABLE TO DO AN IN PERSON INTERVIEW AND START ON 6/5)
Job Summary
As an Operations Assistant, your primary focus will be hunting for, pitching to, and onboarding high-quality local tour guides to join the Pintours platform. This is a high-energy, volume-driven role that combines operations, proactive sales, and talent acquisition. You will be responsible for hitting a weekly quota of qualified, fully onboarded guides to fuel our platform's growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Active Recruitment: Proactively source and outreach to potential tour guides, local experts, and travel enthusiasts through social media, online communities, job boards, and direct networking.
- Hit Hiring Quotas: Consistently meet or exceed weekly quotas for qualified guides onboarded and active on the Pintours platform.
- Sales & Pitching: Conduct discovery calls and video interviews to sell the Pintours opportunity to prospective guides, effectively highlighting the earning potential (including our $100 guide bonuses) and platform benefits.
- Vetting & Quality Control: Evaluate applicants to ensure they meet Pintours' communication, quality, and professional standards.
- Onboarding & Support: Guide newly hired creators through the initial setup process, ensuring they submit their first tours within their 7-day eligibility window.
- Database Management: Keep internal tracking systems accurate and updated with candidate pipelines and onboarding metrics.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in Sales, Outbound Recruitment, Account Management, or a similar target-driven role.
- Education: Some college education is required (Associate’s degree or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be comfortable picking up the phone, pitching cold leads, and running video interviews.
- Drive & Grit: A self-starter attitude with a strong drive to hit numbers and overcome "no's."
- Organization: Ability to handle a high volume of candidates simultaneously without letting talent slip through the cracks.
- Passion for Travel: An interest in tourism, local experiences, or the creator economy is a huge plus.
Pay: $20.50 per hour
