Quality Engineer:
Develop, analyze, and track the manufacturing of toner products from start to finish to ensure EPUI"s quality assurance, protocols and compliance objectives are met. Collaborate with production and quality control to improve the output efficiency or quality of the associated manufactured products.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

A minimum of three years of experience in manufacturing environment with quality assurance engineering responsibilities and demonstrate understanding of process workflows, PFMEA's and capability studies.

Must be capable of using inspection equipment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, set and accomplish objectives.

Able to work with multiple teams to resolve quality issues.

Must be computer literate, with strong MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
-
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 programs and standards.

Must have demonstrated experience with six Sigma and lean manufacturing principles and tools

Must be team oriented with the ability to collaborate to mitigate quality risks.
RESPONSIBILITY :
-
Design, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. Perform product quality planning activities, create Control Plans, Process Flows, PFMEA's and Capability Studies. Establish quality standards for products and processes and suggest modifications meant to prevent defects.

Design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product design, product management and production, to identify and mitigate quality risks.

Responsible for planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal/external safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Analyze reports and production data to identify trends and recommended updates or changes to quality standards and procedures where necessary. May lead root cause analysis for defects, nonconformities or other quality failures. Identify problem areas and solutions using analytics such as 5 whys, Ishikawa diagrams and other continuous improvement tools methodologies. May ensure compliance to in-house/and or external specifications and standards (i.e., GLP, GMP, ISO, six Sigma).

Conduct internal audits (product, process, system) and report as necessary. Audit production processes, raw materials or suppliers/vendors to ensure that established quality standards are met.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
