Tosa Pediatrics is seeking compassionate, experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team on a PRN/as-needed basis during our busy vaccine season. If you enjoy working with children and families in a fast-paced outpatient setting, this is a great opportunity to put your pediatric nursing skills to work while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Schedule
Enjoy a flexible schedule that works around your availability.
- Weekdays: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and/or 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Flexible hours each week and month based on clinic needs and your availability.
What You'll Do
As a PRN RN, you'll play an important role in keeping our patients and community healthy by providing safe, efficient, and compassionate care to infants, children, adolescents, and their families.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare patients for their visit by obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
- Administer influenza and COVID-19 vaccines to pediatric patients and their parents/caregivers.
- Accurately document all vaccine administration and nursing care in the medical record.
- Vaccine entry into the Wisconsin Immunization Registry (WIR).
- Administer routine medications, immunizations, antibiotics, and intramuscular injections.
- Educate patients and families on vaccines and answer questions with confidence and compassion.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff to ensure an efficient patient flow and outstanding patient experience.
Qualifications
We're looking for nurses who thrive in a busy outpatient environment and enjoy building positive relationships with children and families.
Required:
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of one year of RN experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Preferred:
- Pediatric nursing experience.
- Previous vaccine clinic or immunization experience.
- Experience administering pediatric immunizations and educating families about vaccines.
