About Atmosphere Academy Public Charter Schools
Atmosphere Academy creates an "atmosphere" for learning in which students and teachers realize their potential as mindful leaders through enriching experiential learning and engaging coursework across all content areas. Student Recruitment Associate
The Student Recruitment Associate will report to the Family Engagement Operations Manager to support student recruitment and community engagement efforts. This is a unique opportunity for a mission-driven individual who is passionate about our strong academic program, career pathways and experiential learning initiatives.
Compensation
This position is a full-time, salaried position to be compensated per semi-monthly pay period. Atmosphere also offers the following benefits that you will be eligible for:

Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelors degree is required.
- At least 2 years of direct experience successfully managing student recruitment and enrollment for a charter school in NYC.
- Proficient user of Google Office products (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive, etc).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Team player capable of working both collaboratively and independently.
- Ability to work some weekends and after school in order to run recruitment events such as open houses, while earning comp days to take as vacation later in the year.
- Knowledge of the community surrounding Atmosphere’s school locations.
- Ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
Duties
Student Recruitment
- Work with FE Manager to develop and execute robust student recruitment plans to boost enrollment and drive revenue, allowing the school to educate as many students as possible
- Partner with elementary schools, middle schools, youth programs, afterschool centers and other community organizations to build partnerships, schedule visits, tabling opportunities and student recruitment presentations
- Drive recruitments efforts through canvassing, events and other strategies to generate applications
- Support the FE Team with various marketing activities and initiatives to drive applications and enrollment numbers
Open Houses and Recruitment Events
- Support open house planning, coordination and logistics for prospective families
- Support the planning and execution of recruitment events to meet application targets
- Create robust minute-by-minute documents that demonstrate how open houses and other recruitment events should run
- Attend external recruitments fairs and events to engage with families and drive applications
Recruitment Data and Administration Tasks
- Ensure recruitment spreadsheet is updated and reflective of all recruitment efforts
- Data should be updated in real time to ensure that leadership is in full understanding of Recruitment efforts and updates
- Fill weekly schedule to reflect recruitment efforts for the week to come
- Inform FE Manager of any marketing needs that will potentially increase recruitment and enrollment.
