Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Manage delivery schedules efficiently by planning optimal routes using route driving skills and organizational tools
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Handle heavy lifting of packages or merchandise with proper technique to ensure safety and efficiency
- Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales performance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs and receipts, ensuring all records are complete and organized
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure safe driving conditions
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery roles with a clean driving record
- Strong math skills for calculating pricing, measurements, and route distances
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and team members effectively
- Knowledge of route driving techniques, merchandising practices, and basic sales principles
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
- Prior experience in customer service environments demonstrating a positive attitude and problem-solving abilities
- Military background is a plus, especially if it involved logistics, driving, or organizational responsibilities

Pay: $16.90 - $17.00 per hour
