Our client, a well-established investment advisory firm serving high-net-worth individuals and families, is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its growing investment team.
The Investment Analyst will support the firm's investment research and portfolio management efforts across public markets and external investment managers. This role is well suited for candidates with a strong background in equity research, financial analysis, or asset management with 3-5 years of experience
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth fundamental research on public companies and develop investment recommendations.
- Monitor assigned sectors and proactively identify new investment opportunities.
- Perform due diligence on third-party investment managers through research, meetings, and performance analysis.
- Prepare investment memos and present research findings to the investment team.
- Track portfolio holdings, monitor performance, and provide ongoing investment analysis.
- Support portfolio management activities, including trade execution and implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in equity research, asset management, or investment analysis.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and research skills
- Progress toward the CFA charter or an MBA is a plus.
- Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, or similar investment research platforms is preferred.
This role is hybrid- 2-3 days in office
Comp $115K-$140K + Bonus
