Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to support our busy kitchen operations. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient environment, ensuring that food preparation and service run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with experience in cleaning, food handling, and basic food preparation. Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning
- Support catering and banquet setups by preparing necessary items and ensuring timely service
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including counters, sinks, and storage spaces
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service periods
- Help with general kitchen organization and inventory management as needed
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is REQUIRED
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards
- Experience with banquet or hotel food service is a plus
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required
- Basic understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices
