American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week night shift travel assignment at a long-term acute care hospital in Seattle, WA.

Long-term acute care hospital setting in Seattle, WA

Respiratory Therapy department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
-
Night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
-
Every other weekend required

13-week contract
-
Minimum 1 year of recent Respiratory Therapy experience (2 years preferred)

NBRC RRT or CRT certification required
-
Active WA RT license required (license required if applicable)

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required

All certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway maintenance, arterial line insertion, intubation, delivery of medicated aerosols, pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis

Assists physicians with both invasive and non-invasive procedures

Follows facility-approved protocols and department policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services

Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced local pay rate

RQI and RCIS certifications for BLS and ACLS are not accepted — AHA certification required
