Job Summary
We are looking for a Dental Assistant to help support both our front and back office as our growing dental practice continues to expand. We’re looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, organized, proactive, willing to learn and take on different responsibilities as needed. We’re hoping to find someone who wants to become part of our dental family and grow with us for the long term.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during procedures and provide chairside support.
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain sterilization and infection control.
- Take digital X-rays as needed.
- Assist with front-office duties, including answering phones, scheduling, checking patients in/out, and updating records.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental.
- Provide friendly, professional patient care.
- Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and office safety guidelines.
- Work as part of a team and help wherever needed.
Qualifications
- Dental assisting experience preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person who is motivated and eager to learn.
- Comfortable working in both front and back office.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Familiarity with Open Dental is a plus.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable, positive, and willing to learn.
Schedule: 3 days per week, 8-hour shifts, with the potential to transition to a full-time, 5-day-per-week position based on performance and fit.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
