Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist with setting up tables, bussing, and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas
- Manage cash handling transactions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to provide informed recommendations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous
- Experience with food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Background in guest services, host/hostess roles, or bussing is beneficial
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy hours
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and guest relations
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food preparation, food handling, and sanitation protocols is a plus
