Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and OpenTable reservations with professionalism
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
Skills
- Extensive experience with POS systems including TOAST POS, Micros POS, and other restaurant technology tools
- Strong knowledge of cocktail mixing, wine varieties, spirits, and beverage service techniques
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment with multiple tables or stations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Solid understanding of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience; fine dining experience is a plus
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for processing transactions and splitting checks
- Knowledge of food preparation processes and kitchen operations is advantageous
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue
- Ability to handle cash transactions confidently while maintaining accuracy in sales processing

Pay: $7.50 - $15.00 per hour
