Burns Hyundai is looking for reliable, motivated Service Lane Porters to support our busy service department. We have both full-time and part-time positions available.
This is an important front-line role in our service operation. The Service Lane Porter helps keep the service drive moving, organized, clean, and professional for our customers, service advisors, and technicians.
The right candidate is dependable, energetic, safety-focused, and willing to help wherever needed. Prior automotive experience is helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities
As a Service Lane Porter, you will:

Greet service customers in a professional and helpful manner

Move customer vehicles safely throughout the service department and dealership property

Keep the service drive, parking areas, and customer areas clean and organized
-
Assist service advisors with customer drop-offs and pick-ups
-
Retrieve vehicles for customers when service is completed

Stage vehicles for technicians and service advisors
-
Help maintain an efficient flow of vehicles through the service department

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service lane
-
Support the service team with other tasks as assigned
Qualifications

Valid driver's license required
-
Clean and acceptable driving record required
-
Dependable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts
-
Professional appearance and positive attitude

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
-
Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions
-
Able to safely operate customer vehicles
-
Prior dealership, porter, valet, lot attendant, or automotive experience is helpful, but not required
Schedule
Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
Schedules may include weekday shifts, Saturday shifts, morning coverage, afternoon coverage, or flexible part-time hours depending on availability.
