Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Server / Barista to join our vibrant team! Duties
- Preparing specialty coffee beverages, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other menu beverages.
- Taking customer orders and processing payments.
- Serving food and beverages to dine-in customers.
- Preparing takeout and online orders for customer pickup.
- Maintaining product presentation and service quality standards.
- Assisting customers with menu selections and responding to customer inquiries.
- Maintaining cleanliness of customer seating areas, service stations, and beverage preparation areas.
- Supporting promotional activities and customer engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or café experience is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee brewing techniques is a plus.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable; basic math skills are essential for processing transactions accurately.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Experience in food service or retail sales transactions is beneficial; familiarity with beverage service and drink preparation is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during busy hours.
