Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Mid-Day Day Porter where your energy and attention to detail will keep our facilities spotless, safe, and welcoming. In this role, you will work during regular business hours from 11:00am to 3:30pm to keep the delearship environment pristine. You will focus on real-time upkeep, touchpoint and reset disinfecting and addressing unexpected spills in high-traffic areas. Your proactive approach will ensure that the environment meets the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, creating a positive experience for everyone, including the customers.
Duties
- Regularly monitoring, cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking restrooms with soap and paper products.
- Wiping down high-touch surfaces and glass doors, emptying trash cans, and spot sweeping.
- Promptly cleaning up spills and placing wet floor signs to prevent slip-and-fall accidents.
- Sweeping entryways, emptying trash cans along exterior of building and walkways.
- Resetting breakrooms and conference areas after luncheon and/or meetings.
Experience
- Must have the ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended hours.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and must be able to present a professional, helpful demeanor to staff, visitors, and/or customers.
- Must have 2-3 years of previous janitorial or custodial and customer service experience.
- Must have knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety standards related to custodial work.
- Must have strong communication skills and attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality cleanliness standards.
- Must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions, consistently.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
