Veterinary Associates, a privately owned, non-corporate mixed animal veterinary clinic, located in Reedsville WI, is seeking a customer service representative to fill part time to full time hours including every other Saturday. We are open 730a-5pm (Monday - Friday), 730a-1pm (Saturday), and closed on Sunday. We try our best to accommodate life and family schedules as best as we can.
The ideal candidate must be good with people, computers, telephone, communication skills (in person and written), multitasking, and be able to handle unexpected situations. On any given day we deal with multiple species: cows, horses, dogs, cats, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, pigs, llamas, alpacas, and guinea pigs to name a few.
Candidate requirements:
-Able to pick up on computer programs/software easily (Infinity) and Google Calendar
-Strong customer service skills
-Previous Veterinary Experience Needed
All applicants must be able to handle rapidly changing working conditions and think quickly. The job would require one to work with a team and communicating with team members. This job not only requires receptionist duties but also includes other duties such as cleaning surgical instruments/kits, restocking shelves, general cleaning, contact with pets, and organizing.
