PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for all aspects of the licensing and permitting of all TMC Trucks. Also responsible for the ordering and securement of required over dimensional permits.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Order new plates for new and existing equipment.
- Transfer of existing plates from one truck to another.
- Make sure all required credentials are in order for the state of Iowa processing.
- Responsible for the securement of all required permits for all trucks to run legally in all states and provinces.
- Order, secure and distribute all required over dimensional permits for all trucks transporting oversize loads.
- Inform drivers on state requirements, restrictions and placement of over dimensional signs, flags and strobe lights required by regulation for the movement of oversize loads.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel).
- Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment and tolerate stress.
- Ability to plan and organize, attention to detail, problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience with vehicle titling, registration, permits, and licensing preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must be able to sit and use telephone and computer, simultaneously, for extended periods of time.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
