Job Summary
We are a vibrant and welcoming Indian restaurant looking for an energetic, skilled Bartender to join our team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods or events like banquets and catering functions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender with strong cocktail-making skills and knowledge of mixology techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Knowledge of beverage recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in fine dining, hospitality industry, or restaurant settings preferred
