Liberty Tree & Landscape Management is a growing Plant Health Care, tree, and landscape company looking for an experienced in-house mechanic to maintain and manage our fleet of trucks, equipment, and tools.
This is a hands-on position focused on diagnosing problems, completing repairs, performing preventative maintenance, and keeping our crews equipped with safe, reliable equipment every day.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and enjoys improving shop efficiency and organization.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks, machinery, and small equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Repair and maintain chippers, mowers, and snow plow equipment
- Handle field breakdowns and emergency repairs as needed
- Maintain accurate equipment and service records
- Track inventory, order supplies, and manage equipment needs
- Keep shop and yard clean, organized, and efficient
- Assist with general shop/building maintenance
- Occasionally pick up plants, materials, or supplies
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must have your own tools
- Experience with small engine repair and equipment maintenance
- Knowledge of trucks, chippers, and landscape/tree equipment preferred
- Ability to work independently and problem solve
