- Installing new electrical installations for building and equipment

- Creating bills of materials for project supplies
- Bending, Threading, and Installing rigid conduit and flexible conduit systems
- Pulling wires, terminating wires, neatly identifying wires
- Troubleshooting existing electrical installations for building and equipment
- Proficient in use of voltmeters, ammeters, and related diagnostic equipment
- Efficient troubleshooting methodology and experience in troubleshooting
- Experience troubleshooting motors, VFD’s, lighting systems
- Additional beneficial items
- Experience effectively troubleshooting PLC’s
- Experience effectively troubleshooting VFD’s
- Buss Bar and Buss Plug installation experience
- Certification as Journeyman, Commercial Electrician, or similar
- Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or relevant field
- Basic welding skills – for instance mounting an overhead transformer
- Able to provide own basic electrician tools
- Create / Update / Maintain documentation related to electrical systems
Authorized training period: 12 weeks

Ladder, Radio, Air hose, Bolt cutter, Wire cutter, Sander, Hoist, Gasket Cutter, Flash light, Fire Extinguisher, Gloves, Band saw, Fire hose, Screwdriver, Hammer, Wrenches, Tugger, Lift truck, Squeegee, Scissors, Ratchet, Screwdriver, and Computer/Keyboard.
Materials Used:
Pen, Pencil, Paper, Tape, Broom, Bearings, Motor brushes, Oil, Nuts, Bolts, Rags, Gasket material, Fuses, Wood, Nails, Wire, Valves, Grease and Computer.
Job Requirements:
Must be 18 years old, Ability to read & write, Comprehend written & verbal instructions, Good organizational skills, Ability to perform various computer operations, Ability to prioritize tasks, Ability to work in a team environment, Basic math skills, Basic mechanical skills, Good visual perception, Good interpersonal relationship skills, Ability to operate a tugger and forklift, ability to use hand tools, have a working knowledge of a Knit machine. Required to make a log of activities. Must be able to rebuild machinery components.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED – Mandatory
2 year degree or related experience
Other Requirements:
Must submit to and pass a drug screen. Must comply with all company rules, including but not limited to: safety, attendance & other job specifications, and have reliable transportation. Visual acuity, listening ability, excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
Physical Requirements:
Standing– Must be able to stand for 3 hours consecutively. Approximately 80% of the day is spent standing while performing Maintenance on the Knit machines.
Sitting – Must be able to attend meetings. Approximately 5% of the day is spent sitting.
Moving –Must be able to move throughout the facility. Approximately 35 % of the day is spent moving.
Climbing –Must be able to climb up and down steps of stairs and step over machinery 20” high. Must be able to climb ladders. Approximately 10% of the day is spent climbing.
Lifting – Must be able to lift weights up to 50 lbs. Any weight over 50 lbs for men and 25 lbs. for females must require assistance. Approximately 30% of the day is spent lifting
Pushing/Pulling – Must be able to move materials, push tool box around the location, use force to break seals on bolts, etc. Must be able to open doors to enter and exit the various locations in the plant. Approximately 25% of the day is spent Pushing/Pulling.
Reaching – Must be able to reach a maximum distance of 30 inches. While reaching must sometimes lean over items to adjust valves, fix motors and operate controls. Approximately 30% of the day is spent reaching.
Visual Acuity – Must be correctable to 20/40 and have good peripheral vision. Must have the ability to track Solder paths on computer boards and see tiny nuts and bolts.
Bending/Stooping – Must be able to bend to pick up items off the floor, adjust valves and lift items. Must be able to fit into tight spaces while working on machinery. Approximately 20% of the day is spent bending/stooping.
Other – Must be able to hear for person to person communication, emergency alarms, machine, and telephone. Also must comply with company rules, including but not limited to safety, attendance, and job specifications.
Safety Equipment Required – Steel toed shoes, face shield, gloves, safety glasses, face shield, goggles, LTCT tags and hearing protection as required.
