Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences by crafting high-quality beverages and ensuring the bar area is well-maintained. Position is hourly plus tips. Must be able to work on Sunday.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain an organized and clean bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning countertops.
- Engage with guests, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink offerings.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with local laws.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service, especially during catering events.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies.
- Stay updated on current trends in the food industry, including new cocktails and brewing techniques.
Skills
- Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of brewing processes and techniques for crafting specialty drinks.
- Previous experience in catering or event service is beneficial.
- Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Understanding of food handling practices to ensure safety and compliance in beverage preparation.
