Key Responsibilities of Corporate Accountant
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries.
Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processes.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accounting standards.
Support audits and provide accurate financial documentation.
Partner with leadership to provide financial insights that guide decision-making.
Qualifications for Corporate Accountant
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage Intacct preferred).
CPA or progress toward CPA a plus.
2+ years of accounting experience (healthcare or long-term care preferred).
Strong understanding of GAAP and healthcare reimbursement structures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
