About the Role
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the seamless operation of our production facility by performing critical repairs and preventive maintenance. You will play a vital role in maintaining equipment reliability and facility standards to support high-quality output and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities-
Execute comprehensive repairs on building infrastructure and mechanical systems to minimize downtime.

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, including inspecting belts, lubricating bearings, and replacing filters to extend equipment lifespan.

Calibrate and troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical control circuits to ensure operational precision.

Manage facility upkeep, including electrical wiring, refrigeration systems, and structural repairs like drywall and painting.

Maintain accurate maintenance logs and checklists to ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.

Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and boom lifts to facilitate safe and efficient repair access.

Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to maintain continuous production flow.

Monitor and adjust automated utility systems via computer-based control interfaces.

High school diploma or GED with at least one year of relevant mechanical or building maintenance experience.

Proficiency with hand and power tools for diverse repair tasks.

Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical troubleshooting.

Ability to interpret technical schematics, drawings, and maintenance manuals.

Valid experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production environment.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Prior experience working within a food production environment (GMP/HACCP knowledge).

Technical certification or specialized training in PLCs or industrial automation.

Demonstrated ability to perform complex mathematical calculations for rate and ratio analysis.
