True Care Behavioral Solutions is looking for experienced Behavior Technicians who enjoy providing quality ABA services while working alongside supportive clinical leaders. We believe therapists do their best work when they have accessible supervisors, realistic expectations, and consistent communication.
We are currently hiring experienced BTs and RBTs for immediate openings.
Current Case Opportunities
We currently have multiple clients available, including availabilities like:
- Valencia: 30 hours per week
- Northern Granada Hills: 35 hours per week
- Arleta: 13 hours per week
- Panorama City: 9 hours per week
Additional cases are available throughout our service areas, and we work to match clinicians with schedules that fit their availability whenever possible.
What You’ll Do
As a Behavior Technician, you will provide one-on-one ABA therapy in home and school settings while implementing treatment programs designed by your supervising BCBA.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide direct 1:1 In-Home and/or Community based ABA therapy
- Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans
- Collect accurate session data using CentralReach
- Document session notes and convert sessions 10 minutes before end of session
- Teach communication, social, play, adaptive, and daily living skills
- Collaborate professionally with families, schools, Program Managers, and supervising BCBAs
- Communicate promptly regarding schedule changes, client concerns, or clinical questions
We’re Looking For Someone Who…
- Has at least 8 months of ABA experience, Preferably at least 1-year
- Is comfortable collecting data and documenting sessions in CentralReach
- Understands ABA teaching procedures and follows treatment plans consistently
- Communicates professionally with supervisors, Program Managers, and our Home Office
- Maintains professional boundaries with clients and families, including protecting personal contact information and maintaining confidentiality
- Is dependable, organized, and receptive to feedback
- Values teamwork and ongoing clinical growth
Clinical Support
We believe good supervision makes great clinicians.
You’ll receive ongoing support from experienced BCBAs and Program Managers who are available for clinical guidance, problem-solving, and professional development. We value collaboration and strive to create an environment where clinicians feel supported—not isolated.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred; experienced Behavior Technicians willing to complete RBT requirements are encouraged to apply
- Minimum 8 months of ABA experience or Exceptional Knowledge
- Ability to pass Live Scan, background check, and TB screening
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to kneel, squat, crawl, sit, stand, and transition between positions throughout therapy sessions
- Comfortable sitting on the floor for extended periods
- Willingness to provide services in homes, schools, clinics, and community settings
- Willingness to travel within an agreed service radius
Schedule & Hours
We welcome both part-time and full-time applicants.
Hours are based on client availability, with many sessions occurring or available between 3:00 PM up to 9:00 PM.
Many clinicians begin with afternoon and evening cases and later build toward school-based and daytime schedules as additional cases become available or based on discussions with your client's school administrations.
We work hard to build schedules that maximize consistency for both our clinicians and our families.
