Job description:
Buchanan Healthcare Center is seeking a dual-role Long-Term Care Scheduler / CNA. We now offer Tap check where you can get paid ahead up to 70% of your pay. This position combines hands-on patient care with administrative scheduling, giving CNAs the opportunity to broaden their skills while making a direct impact on resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
CNA Duties:·
- Provide direct care, assisting with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
- Monitor and document vital signs.·
- Foster a safe, supportive environment for residents.·
- Maintain accurate care records in compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team
Scheduling Duties:
- Coordinate daily staffing and ensure all shifts are covered.
- Manage call-outs and adjust schedules as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date staffing rosters.
- Respond to urgent schedule changes and notify staff promptly.
- Report scheduling issues to the Administrator.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Build positive working relationships across departments.
- Monitor scheduling-related calls on days off, forwarding urgent matters to the Administrator.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be willing to be on call
- Some weekends required
Qualifications: Required
- Valid Georgia CNA certification.
- Minimum 1 year of CNA experience in long-term care or similar setting.
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office; Preferred:·
- Experience in long-term care facilities.
- Previous experience in healthcare scheduling or workforce management.
- Working Hours:· Full-time, split between CNA duties and scheduling responsibilities.
- Includes on-call weekend rotation.

Pay: Up to $39,520.00 per year
