About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Retail Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading the sales team, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and merchandising
- Lead, coach, and motivate sales associates to meet sales goals and provide outstanding customer service
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional manner
- Support cash handling, POS operations, and loss prevention efforts
- Maintain store standards for cleanliness, presentation, and visual displays
- Monitor inventory levels, process shipments, and help reduce shrink
Requirements
- Previous retail management experience (minimum of 1–2 years preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple priorities
- Basic computer and POS system skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs as required
