Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and an eagerness to contribute to a memorable dining experience for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu descriptions and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience, including upselling specials and promotions.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling policies.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately; cashiering experience is a plus.
