Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experiences and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage cash handling, billing, and cashiering responsibilities with precision
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met according to industry regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and resolve any guest concerns promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Knowledge of POS systems Toast.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse needs gracefully
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation and handling procedures
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Experience with host/host duties or restaurant hosting is advantageous for guest relations roles
