Benefit Life Insurance Agency is seeking an experienced Agency Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and growth of our insurance agency. This is a hands-on leadership role for a sales-driven professional with experience in commercial and personal lines of insurance, agency operations, and carrier relations.
This is a full-time, in-office position.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the agency
- Drive growth through new business development and client relationship management
- Manage commercial and personal lines insurance business
- Maintain relationships with insurance carriers and handle carrier appointments
- Review, rewrite, and remarket policies as needed
- Oversee policy renewals and client retention efforts
- Manage carrier documentation and compliance requirements
- Streamline agency workflows and improve operational efficiency
- Utilize AMS360 (Vertafore) to manage agency processes and records
- Support the continued growth and profitability of the agency
- Bring and develop an existing book of business, if applicable
Qualifications
- Active Florida 220 General Lines Agent License required
- Commercial and personal lines insurance experience required
- Previous experience as an Agency Manager or similar leadership role
- Strong sales and business development background
- Experience with carrier appointments and carrier relationships
- Working knowledge of AMS360 (Vertafore) preferred
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and executive functioning skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Existing book of business preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-Time
Work Location: In Office (South Florida)
Compensation: Depending on experience. Between $80,000-$95,000/year. Willing to negotiate for the right candidate.
