Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Plant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our produce processing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the plant runs safely and efficiently while addressing operational, maintenance, and equipment issues as they arise. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with experience in facility maintenance, manufacturing equipment, HVAC, and plumbing.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the processing plant.
- Respond promptly to operational, equipment, and facility issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot basic electrical, HVAC, and plumbing challenges
- Coordinate and oversee routine maintenance and preventative maintenance programs.
- Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Monitor plant conditions and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with management and production staff to resolve issues quickly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and uphold high standards of safety regulation
Qualifications
- Experience in facility or industrial maintenance supervision required
- Background in food processing facility preferred
- Working knowledge of basic electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Ability to work independently while maintaining direction from leadership.
- Ability to lift, bend, climb, and work in a production environment as needed.
