Store Associate – Cashier & Customer Service
Trabuco Canyon, CA
We are a busy neighborhood general store located in the canyon area of Trabuco Canyon, serving locals, campers, hikers, travelers, and weekend visitors. Our store has a relaxed outdoor community vibe, and we are looking for a dependable, friendly, and hardworking team member to help keep the store running smoothly.
This is a hands-on position where every day can be different. We are looking for someone who is comfortable helping customers, staying organized, working independently, and helping maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cash register and assist customers
- Restock shelves, drinks, beer, and coolers
- Organize merchandise and displays
- Help receive and put away deliveries
- Keep the store clean and organized throughout the shift
- Sweep, mop, take out trash, and assist with closing duties
- Help with daily store operations and other tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Able to stand for long periods and lift boxes when needed
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Retail or cashier experience is a plus, but not required
- Spanish speaking is a plus
- Must be at least 21 years old
Pay:
- Starting at California minimum wage ($16.90/hour) + tips
